as payments under the contract for the SUPPLY, LABOR AND DELIVERY OF CASTING OF IMPELLER. Bids received in excess of the approved budget for the contract per PR shall be automatically rejected at bid opening. Evaluation and award shall be on a per PR basis.
- The Metropolitan Cebu Water District now invites bids for the SUPPLY, LABOR AND DELIVERY OF CASTING OF IMPELLER under Purchase Requisition Nos. 28435-001 TO 28435-005. Delivery of the Goods is required within thirty (30) calendar days as stipulated in the schedule of requirements. Bidders should have completed, within the last FIVE (5) YEARS from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a SINGLE LARGEST COMPLETED CONTRACT similar to the Project with an amount of at least twenty five (25%) of the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) of the proposed project. The description of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II. Instructions to Bidders.
- Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) 9184, otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”.
- Interested bidders may obtain further information from Metropolitan Cebu Water District and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during office hours at eight o’clock in the morning (8:00A.M.) until five o’clock in the afternoon (5:00P.M.).
A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders starting September 29, 2021 and before 9:00 A.M. of October 21, 2021 from the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee for the Bidding Documents in the amount of ONE THOUSAND PESOS (Php 1,000.00).
- The Metropolitan Cebu Water District will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on October 7, 2021 at 9:00 A.M. at the AGM for Operations Group Conference Room, 4thFloor MCWD Building, which shall be open to all interested parties.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before October 21, 2021 at 9:00 A.M. All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in ITB Clause 18.
Bid opening shall be on October 21, 2021 at 9:00 A.M. at the AGM for Operations Conference Room, 4thFloor MCWD Building. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below. Late bids shall not be accepted.
- Metropolitan Cebu Water District assumes no responsibility whatsoever to compensate or indemnify bidders for any expenses incurred in the preparation of bids.
- The Metropolitan Cebu Water District reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
